20 years ago, The Book of Nine Swords revolutionized D&D combat
Twenty years ago, The Book of Nine Swords transformed Dungeons & Dragons combat mechanics. This supplement introduced a new fighting system that allowed martial characters to perform maneuvers akin to spellcasting. Although its rules have largely been set aside, it significantly enhanced the appeal of swordplay in the game.
