The series will debut with its first two episodes on October 30, followed by new episodes every Friday through December 25.Nocturne follows Jonah Lynn, played by Schreiber, an ex-soldier turned homicide detective who leaves Philadelphia behind in search of a quieter life in western Pennsylvania. Rowan Joffé created the adaptation and executive produces alongside Hlavin. Emmy-winning director Tim Van Patten directs the opening two episodes and also executive produces.Produced by A+E Studios in association with Range Studios, Nocturne is based on the work of Lars Kepler, the Swedish husband-and-wife writing duo Alexandra Coelho Ahndoril and Alexander Ahndoril.
