The district ranked eighth among all districts in the State in terms of pass percentage.Of the 23,879 students ( 11,845 boys and 12,034 girls) who appeared for the exam from 353 schools, a total of 23,169 students passed (11,358 boys and 11,811 girls). The overall pass percentage among boys stood at 95.89, while that of girls was 98.15. A total of 178 schools recorded centum results.The overall pass percentage of government schools in the district stood at 95.44. Of the 12,541 students who appeared from government schools, including 5,923 boys and 6,618 girls, 11,970 students passed (5,550 boys and 6,420 girls).
