Google SynthID comes to Chrome, Search, and ChatGPT. Users can right-click to check for AI content.
Google has expanded its SynthID digital watermark initiative to include Chrome and Google Search. This tool allows users to verify whether content such as images, audio files, or videos are AI-generated. The move comes in response to the increasing prevalence of deepfakes and AI-generated media.
