Google will let websites opt-out of AI Mode & Overviews in Search
Google has announced a new feature allowing publishers to opt-out of AI Mode and AI Overviews in Search. This opt-out will prevent their websites from being used in generative AI Search features while still appearing in regular search results. The feature is currently being tested with a subset of website owners in the UK before a global rollout.
