The Guidelines for Human-AI Interaction were established to improve the way AI systems interact with users. Developed through a collaboration between Aether and Microsoft Research, these guidelines synthesize over 20 years of research. They provide best practices for AI behavior during initial and ongoing interactions, as well as when errors occur.
