I Got Tired of Forgetting. So I Built PwnLog.
Nimesh Thakur created PwnLog to help bug hunters capture their findings quickly and efficiently. The tool allows users to log notes, timestamps, and screenshots with a simple hotkey, minimizing disruption during hacking sessions. PwnLog stores all data locally, ensuring user privacy and ease of access for future reporting.
- ▪PwnLog captures findings with a hotkey, allowing users to log notes and screenshots quickly.
- ▪All entries are automatically organized into a markdown journal and a structured JSON file.
- ▪The tool is built with Python and is designed to operate without interrupting the user's workflow.

So I Built PwnLog. #python #opensource #security #cybersecurity Every bug hunter knows the feeling. You're deep in a session. You find something weird — an IDOR, a sketchy endpoint, a parameter that behaves differently than it should. You think "I'll note this later." You never do. Three days later you're staring at a blank report. No notes. No screenshots. No proof. Just a vague memory of something that felt important.
