The results were published by the School Education Department on Wednesday.Girls have outperformed boys and recorded a pass percentage of 97.02 as against 92.75 recorded by boys in Madurai district.A total of 37,495 students (18,983 girls and 18,512 boys) took the board examinations. Out of the total students, 35,586 students (18,417 girls and 17,169 boys) passed the Board examinations. As many as 196 out of 479 schools in the district achieved 100% pass.Madurai district had slipped from the 11th position in 2024 to 22nd position in 2025. In 2025, the district had recorded a pass percentage of 93.93.
