Jihad Al-Shamie, 35, used a car and a knife to attack the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue on the morning of 2 October 2025 - which resulted in the deaths of worshippers Adrian Daulby and Melvin Cravitz. Al-Shamie, from Prestwich, was killed by police gunfire at the scene.
