MBBS, BDS application portal to be reopened on July 26
The Selection Committee of the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DME) has announced that it would reopen the online application portal for MBBS and BDS admissions for the academic year 2026-27. The portal will reopen at 10 a.m. on Sunday (July 26, 2026) and close at 3 p.m. on Monday (July 27, 2026).The committee’s decision comes in the wake of representations received from students, it stated in a press release. When the portal is reopened, students who are yet to apply can do so, while those who are yet to complete their application process can finish it.The release said it was strictly a one-time measure keeping in mind the welfare of students and there would be no more extensions.
