Microsoft admits that Teams' UI is way too crowded, but it's working on a fix
Microsoft has acknowledged that the user interface of Teams is cluttered and prone to accidental misclicks. To address this, the company is planning a UI revamp that includes centering meeting controls and adding a two-step share confirmation. These updates are set to roll out to targeted users in early July 2026 and will be available worldwide by late August 2026.
