Silicon Motion has introduced the SM2524XT chip, a 6nm DRAMless controller designed for mainstream SSDs. This new controller can achieve read speeds of up to 14 GB/s by utilizing four NAND channels and advanced technologies. It aims to enhance performance for AI workloads by reducing latency and improving random I/O operations.
