While these fishermen were fishing near Katchatheevu in the evening, Sri Lankan Navy patrol apprehended the fishermen along with their boat and took them to the Sri Lankan Navy Camp at Thalaimannar. Sources said that at present, 18 fishermen from the Rameswaram area are lodged in Sri Lankan prisons.
