Community Posted on July 23, 2026 Posted on July 23, 2026 Opinion The Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede was again an incredible success in our community. Volunteers and businesses stepped up to make sure it was a great time for all. Although some faces with a few little wrinkles are helping out, it’s amazing the dedication that some of our senior citizens display during Stampede weekend. Take a person like Dennis Heser, for example, who was involved in such tasks as cooking the supper for the Wolf Point Wild Horse Race on Wednesday night, golfing in the Tough Enough To Wear Pink tournament on Thursday morning, cooking breakfast for Friday morning slack contestants and then hauling refreshments to the Stampede rodeo grandstands on Friday night.
