When I asked executives if they thought clubs would be fully declared by the end of this weekend, many forecasted, yes, with a few noting a perception that the Blue Jays already were conceding and wading into the sell waters. But speaking for a few, one NL assistant GM said, “I think decisions will drag close to next weekend.” Keep in mind that the deadline is a week from Monday at 6 p.m.
