RPF to install help kiosks at eight more railway stations in Tiruchi Division
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) will expand its technology-driven passenger assistance initiative by setting up RPF Assistance Management System kiosks at eight more railway stations in Tiruchi Railway Division. This follows encouraging response from the travellers and prompt response mechanism from the RPF. The project was first introduced at Srirangam railway station in November 2025 and was subsequently extended to Chidambaram and Puducherry stations in February.The kiosks were developed in-house to bridge the gap between passengers and the RPF at railway stations where there is no permanent RPF presence.
