Russia is planning a tethered mother drone carrying up to six wired mini spy UAVs
Russia has patented a new drone design that turns one aircraft into a mobile hub for up to six smaller spy copters. The carrier drone launches, controls, and retrieves a fleet of tethered reconnaissance units, with each remote unit carrying its own flight controller, gyroscopes, camera, and video transmitter. This design allows several copters to fan out from a single launch point simultaneously, multiplying the eyes in the sky.
