UC Berkeley law school bans students from using AI for coursework, exams
UC Berkeley School of Law has implemented a ban on the use of artificial intelligence for coursework and exams starting this summer. The policy prohibits students from using AI for drafting, revising, or editing their work, although some exceptions may be made by professors. The aim of the policy is to ensure that students develop essential cognitive skills necessary for their future legal careers.
