The Globe-News is inviting votes for the Athlete of the Week for May 11-16, presented by Happy State Bank. Finalists include athletes from various schools who excelled at the UIL State Track Meet and other competitions. The poll will close on Thursday, with winners announced shortly thereafter.
- ▪Athletes from Canyon, Gruver, Silverton, Panhandle, Bushland, Tascosa, West Plains, and Dumas are finalists for this week's honor.
- ▪Nominations for the Athlete of the Week are due by 5 p.m. each Saturday and can be submitted via email.
- ▪This week's finalists include Addyson Bristow, Merritt Cudd, and Maddie Francis, among others.
